I have one of the boards mentioned from Adafruit and I have no problem with it driving my quad DC robot. here is a link to the Item https://www.adafruit.com/product/1438. It has a capacity of 1.2 A per channel. I have even written code to monitor my motor current and shut the drive channels down if this current is exceeded.

There is a motor shield sold by Adafruit that will handle 4 D.C. motors and it has pretty good example code to get you up and running quickly.

I recently purchased a sparkfun motor control shield and to my disappointment I am only able to drive 2 DC motors. THis would be fine four a thee wheeler but I am building a four wheel robot with differential steering does anyone make a shield for this?

Hi I'm having an issue getting a For loop to work I am using the following code:

for (int Pin1 = 7; Pin1 >= 2; Pin1--) {
   
    digitalWrite(Pin1, HIGH);
    delay(1000);
   
    digitalWrite(Pin1, LOW);
  }
}

I get a compile error any help would be appreciated.
